Virtualization
XCP-ng
Coming soonSell VPS hosting from your own XCP-ng pool, driven through the Xen Orchestra API you already use.
XCP-ng is the open-source Xen platform, and Xen Orchestra is how you drive it: one API in front of the whole pool that already knows about hosts, machines, storage and snapshots. That is where a Provibr integration would connect, from an agent inside your own network.
What is planned
- Order of work: with the other hypervisors, after the Proxmox features now in progress
- A Xen Orchestra instance the agent can reach, with an API token you create yourself
- No date committed, and it is not part of what you buy today
Where this stands
Coming soon. Designed, not implemented. If your estate runs on Xen rather than KVM, tell us. That weighs on what gets built next.
Other integrations
What it does
Nothing works today. It is on this page so you can weigh it before you decide where your next pool goes.
The machine lifecycle you already know
Create, start, stop, restart, resize and remove, driven by the same commands, the same plans and the same audit trail your Proxmox machines get today.
Xen Orchestra is the connection point
One API in front of the pool, so the agent talks to Xen Orchestra instead of to every host in turn, with a token you create yourself and no XCP-ng port facing the internet.
Open source, and it stays yours
Your XCP-ng install and any support contract you hold are your own arrangement. Provibr charges per machine under management, the same as everywhere else on this page.
