CloudPanel

CloudPanel runs NGINX, PHP and a database on one cloud server. Provibr manages it from an agent inside your own network, over SSH. CloudPanel has no HTTP API, so the agent runs its own clpctl command line the way an administrator would. Nothing is installed on the panel and no port has to be opened to the internet.

Credentials

Because CloudPanel is driven over SSH, the credential is an SSH private key rather than an API token. The agent uses it to run clpctl as root on the host.

  • The host and SSH port of the CloudPanel server, port 22 by default
  • An SSH private key the agent logs in with, whose public half sits in that user’s authorized_keys
  • The SSH host key fingerprint of the server, required because there is no certificate chain over SSH to fall back on
This SSH key is a root shell on your web server. Keep it to a key that exists only for Provibr, and revoke it here the moment you stop using the integration. Revoking wipes the agent’s copy.

Pinning the host key

Read the fingerprint on the host and paste it into the integration. The agent refuses any host whose key does not match, so a reinstalled server or an intercepted connection is caught before a single command runs.

shell
ssh-keyscan -t ed25519 <host> 2>/dev/null | ssh-keygen -lf -
Commands and terminal output are in English everywhere, in the panel and in these pages. One text, one truth: what you read here is literally what your host will print back.

The example above uses port 22. If your host listens on another SSH port, add it to the ssh-keyscan command.

Templates and PHP versions

A CloudPanel plan is a vhost template plus a PHP version. Ordering a site picks both, and the template shapes the NGINX configuration the site is created with.

The vhost template is fixed once the site exists, so there is no package change: moving a site to a different template or PHP version means recreating it. Provibr says so instead of pretending a change happened.

Counted as a web server

Each site is one web server in your capacity, priced the same way as every other control panel on this page. A suspended site does not count towards your limit.

Suspending a site

Suspending injects an NGINX rule that returns 403, so the site is unreachable while everything else on the server keeps running. Resuming removes the rule and the site is byte-for-byte back.

What is not there

There is no console and no usage graph. CloudPanel measures neither, and a graph that sits at zero looks like a reading. DNS, mail and databases stay in CloudPanel.

Provibr manages the site and its lifecycle: creating, suspending, resuming and removing it. Everything else about the server stays your choice and your customer’s.
