Billing panels

Upmind

Upmind

Coming soon

Let orders in Upmind create the servers, and cancellations remove them again.

Upmind is a billing and client platform you do not host yourself. That changes very little for a provisioning module: it is still an order in one system that has to create a resource in another, and the public API is the same one every other billing panel here would call.

What is planned

  • Status: coming soon, nothing built
  • Upmind has to confirm which route is open to us
  • No date committed, and it is not part of what you buy today

Where this stands

Coming soon. Their extension model exists and fits what Provibr does; publishing into it is not ours to do, and that is the open question.

What it does

Nothing is built, and this one will not be a module like the other three. Upmind's provisioning extensions live in their repository and are published by them, so a connector we write does not reach you unless Upmind ships it.

  • Provisioning from the order

An order in Upmind creates the machine or the hosting account in Provibr, and its lifecycle follows: suspended when the customer stops paying, removed when the contract ends.

  • Your billing stays yours

Provibr bills you for the capacity you reserve. What you charge your own customers, in which currency and on which terms, stays entirely inside Upmind.

  • Keys you can narrow

A module would use an API key you create yourself, scoped to what it needs. A hosted billing platform reaching into your infrastructure should be able to do exactly that much and no more.
