Hetzner

Hetzner

Available now

Run your Hetzner Cloud project from the same panel as the rest of your estate.

Hetzner Cloud and Robot are two products behind two APIs, so they stay two integrations in the panel.

  • Console access
  • Usage metrics
  • Install from a template
  • Reinstall in place

What you need

  • A Hetzner Cloud project with an API token that has Read & Write permission
  • A Linux host inside your own network to run the agent
  • Servers that already exist in that project; ordering from a plan and Robot are not part of this yet

What it does

Cloud works today: the servers already in your project are imported and land in the same lists, capacity count and audit trail. Robot is announced and does not connect yet.

  • Hetzner Cloud: import what is already there

Provibr manages only what you tick. Start, stop, shut down, remove and rebuild; a rebuild keeps both the IPv4 and the IPv6 address.

  • Hetzner Robot: dedicated machines, other verbs

Read state, hardware and ACPI reset, rescue mode, reinstall, firewall rules and cancellation. There is no stop button, because a powered-off dedicated server is still billed.

  • Two products, two sets of credentials

A Cloud token has no scope and no expiry, so give Provibr a project of its own. Robot uses another login entirely.

Where this stands

Hetzner Cloud is live. Import, start, stop, shut down, remove and rebuild work, and so do the console and the usage graphs, apart from memory, which Hetzner does not measure. Ordering from a plan, volumes, firewall rules and address assignment do not, and Robot is announced.

Start with one host and one agent

Create an account, install the agent with a single command and connect your first Proxmox host. The trial runs for 14 days and asks for no payment details.
